Twin Peaks Classical Academy is 2-8 against Loveland Classical since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Wednesday. The Twin Peaks Classical Academy Timberwolves are taking a road trip to  challenge the Loveland Classical Lions  at 7:30  p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.
Twin Peaks Classical Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They strolled past William Smith with  points to spare on Monday, taking the game  80-64. The Timberwolves pushed the score to  62-39 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Twin Peaks Classical Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Matthew Wurth, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with nine  points and 16  rebounds. That's the most  boards  Wurth has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jace Ross, who  went 6 for 15  en route to 17 points and three  steals.
 Twin Peaks Classical Academy  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 18  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive  contests.
Meanwhile, Loveland Classical waltzed into their game  on Monday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They walked away with  a   60-47  win over the Falcons. Given the Lions' advantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings  (they are ranked 98th, while the Falcons are ranked 243rd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Twin Peaks Classical Academy better keep an eye on  Jackson Jensen. He was instrumental in Loveland Classical's win,  going 10 of 14  on his way to 27  points along with six  rebounds and five  steals. Jensen is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed three or more in the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Kole Doan, who  earned 14 points and eight  boards.
 Twin Peaks Classical Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record  this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 63.4 points over those games. As for Loveland Classical, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the  victory, which was their 17th straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Twin Peaks Classical Academy took a serious blow against Loveland Classical  in their previous matchup  back in December of 2024, falling  70-28. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Loveland Classical's  Trevan Coberly, who  went 8 for 14 from beyond the arc to rack up 35  points. Now that Twin Peaks Classical Academy knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
