Football Recap: Mt. Diablo Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mt. Diablo lost against Campolindo back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Red Devils lost 27-7 to the Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 484th, while the Cougars are ranked 185th).

Isabelle Maher went supernova For Campolindo., rushing for 66 yards and one TD on only six carries, while also throwing for 78 yards and three touchdowns.

Mt. Diablo now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Campolindo, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1-1.

Mt. Diablo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 49-0 defeat against Benicia on the 17th. Campolindo has also already played their next game (against Northgate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
