Lanesville extends home losing streak to seven

Recap: Lanesville Eagles vs. Rock Creek Academy Lions

The Lanesville Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 72-48 walloping at the hands of Rock Creek Academy. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lanesville in their matchups with Rock Creek Academy: they've now lost five in a row.

Despite the loss, Lanesville still got an impressive performance from Nolyn Hall, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Elias, who scored eight points.

Lanesville's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Rock Creek Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lanesville will take on Shawe Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rock Creek Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Portland Christian at 7:30 p.m.
