Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Twiggs County). They blew past the Georgia Military College Bulldogs 68-43 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cobras have posted since February 6, 2024.

It was another big night for Daniel Pitts, who posted 21 points. Another player making a difference was Demontrez Brown, who had nine points.

Georgia Military College lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Damien Moore, who went 8 of 10 en route to 17 points. The dominant performance gave Moore a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tommy Carty, who earned nine points and five assists.

The win snapped Twiggs County's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-15 record. As for Georgia Military College, they dropped their record down to 0-19 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Twiggs County has already played their next game, a 47-38 loss against Johnson County on the 4th. As for Georgia Military College, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-46 victory against Glascock County on the 4th.
