Volleyball Recap: Purvis Victorious

Purvis's tournament run continued when they took on Biloxi on Saturday. The Tornadoes came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tornadoes.

Purvis easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15.

Aubrey Easley paced Purvis' offense, picking up eight kills. Easley got some help from Presley Long and her eight assists.

Purvis' win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Biloxi, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-3.

Coming up, Purvis will face off against Our Lady Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Biloxi, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Petal on the 16th.
