Baseball Recap: Munster Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Munster's offense. They came up short against the Hanover Central Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Munster's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Hanover Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Munster will challenge Merrillville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hanover Central, they will square off against Illiana Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 4.1, the Vikings 1.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
