Baseball Recap: Kohler Takes a Loss

If Kohler was riding high fresh off their 15-2 takedown of Howards Grove on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Bombers fell just short of the St. Mary's Springs Ledger by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Blue Bombers have struggled against the Ledger recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Aiden Oldenhoff put in work while hitting and pitching. He pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Oldenhoff was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Kohler's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for St. Mary's Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
