Volleyball Recap: Clifton-Clyde Takes a Loss

Clifton-Clyde lost against Doniphan West back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Calyn Baker paced Clifton-Clyde's offense, picking up seven kills. Baker got some help from Sevy Wurtz and her eight assists.

Clifton-Clyde's loss dropped their record down to 18-15. As for Doniphan West, their win bumped their record up to an identical 18-15.

Clifton-Clyde wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Centralia on the 14th. As for Doniphan West, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Washington County on the 11th.
