Badin had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bishop Fenwick Falcons a 10-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Caleb Driessen tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Austin Vangen was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Kyle Anderson was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Badin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .520. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Badin's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Bishop Fenwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
