Volleyball Recap: Creekview Takes a Loss

Creekview lost against West Forsyth last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 2-1.

Creekview started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-23, 15-8.

West Forsyth's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adeline Wieler, who had 11 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Wieler has posted over her last nine contests. Another player making a difference was Charlie Holcomb, who had ten digs and three assists.

Creekview's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6. As for West Forsyth, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Creekview will be taking part in a tournament against North Hall at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for West Forsyth, they will challenge Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
