There's no place like home for La Crescent, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as La Crescent also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.
La Crescent got a massive performance out of Abbi Ernster, who went 3-for-3 with three doubles, two runs, and an RBI. Another player making a difference was Lexi Kiesau, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
