Basketball Recap: Lindbergh's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Lindbergh extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from James Huff. The Lindbergh Eagles claimed a resounding 86-54 win over the Evergreen Wolverines thanks in part to Huff, who went 10 for 17 on his way to 27 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. He has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 13 times he's played.

Lindbergh's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.4 points per game. As for Evergreen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12.

Lindbergh won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Highline at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Highline's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Evergreen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Inglemoor at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
