Softball Recap: Heber Springs Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

Heber Springs entered their tilt with Morrilton on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Devil Dogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Heber Springs pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Morrilton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9-1 record this season.

Heber Springs will head out to challenge Mt. Vernon-Enola at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warhawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Morrilton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenbrier at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
