Keller had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Timber Creek Falcons a 2-0 shutout. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Falcons are ranked 390th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Keller's victory bumped their record up to 14-4-2. As for Timber Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10-4.

Coincidentally, Keller and Timber Creek will both be playing V.R. Eaton the next time they take the pitch. Timber Creek will host V.R. Eaton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Keller will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
