Volleyball Recap: The Villages Charter Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

The Villages Charter won the last time they faced Mount Dora and Alexa Taylor did her part to make sure it happened again. The Buffalo walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hurricanes on Tuesday for which the team can thank Taylor, who had 20 digs and seven assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

The Villages Charter walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-23, 22-25, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Mount Dora still got an impressive performance from Alexis Herb, who had 14 digs and four aces. Another player making a difference was Kylee Foster, who had nine assists and five digs.

The Villages Charter has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Tavares on the 8th. As for Mount Dora, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Merritt Island on the 8th.
