            Palmetto and Varela are an even 4-4-2 against one another  since November of 2017, but likely not for long. The Palmetto Panthers will square off against the Varela Vipers at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Palmetto is coming into the  match hot, having won their last four games.
Palmetto's defense heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  back in December of 2024. They came out on top against Reagan by a score of  2-0. The Panthers' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a  goal in their last four  games.
 Steven Paz was the driving force of Palmetto's attack as he scored both of Palmetto's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.
 Meanwhile, for the first time  this season, Varela was forced to settle for a  draw. Neither they nor Archbishop Carroll could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for  a  2-2 draw.
 Palmetto's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 6-2-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero  goals over those four  matches. Varela's  draw makes their record 4-5-1  this season.
