Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Maggie Moke and Alaina Staudenmaier Lead Clinton to Victory

Clinton posted their closest win since September 28, 2024 on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Jonesboro Cardinals 2-1. For the Dragons, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2023.

Clinton was led to victory by Alaina Staudenmaier and Maggie Moke. Staudenmaier had 12 assists and ten digs, while Moke had four digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Clinton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Clinton's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Jonesboro, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton will challenge Campbell County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jonesboro, they will face off against Union Grove on Tuesday.
