Basketball Recap: Ten Straight Road Victories for Trinity Christian Academy

Trinity Christian Academy had won nine straight road games dating back to last season and Luke Nutt did his part to make it ten on Tuesday. The Trinity Christian Academy Warriors strolled past Grayson Christian with points to spare, taking the game 72-56 thanks in part to Nutt, who went 12 of 21 on his way to 31 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. The game was his 12th in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Rolen, who went 6 for 13 en route to 19 points along with six boards and five assists. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last three games he's played.

Trinity Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Grayson Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.

Trinity Christian Academy will face off against Faith Lutheran at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Trinity Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Grayson Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Heritage Christian Academy on January 24th.
