Recap: Kadoka Kougars vs. Bennett County Warriors
The Kadoka Kougars have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Bennett County 64-37 at home. That's another feather in the cap for Kadoka, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Kadoka to victory were Garrett Hermann and Gus Stout. Hermann scored 16 points along with two steals, while Stout almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Stout is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Nemecek, who scored eight points along with five assists.
Kadoka's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Bennett County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kadoka will challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bennett County, they will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Francis Indian is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
