Basketball Recap: Concord Spiders vs. Lake Norman Charter Knights

Concord was the 53-51 winner over Lake Norman Charter when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Concord Spiders had to suffer through a 68-40 loss at the hands of the Lake Norman Charter Knights. While losing is never fun, the Spiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 405th, while the Knights are ranked 162nd).

Concord will take on West Rowan in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th. Lake Norman Charter and Northwest Cabarrus will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th. One thing working in Lake Norman Charter's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
