Hersey got themselves on the board against Joplin on Monday, but Joplin never followed suit. They blew past the Eagles 10-0. The Huskies not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 20, 2024.

Hersey got a great performance from Lincoln Causero as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave Causero a new career-low in hits (zero).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mike Sokan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. Chuck Meister was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
