Softball Recap: Chino Valley Takes a Loss

Chino Valley fell victim to River Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Dust Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dust Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.

Chino Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aden Hubble, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Chino Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for River Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Chino Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe Parker at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, River Valley will challenge rival Kingman at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
