Basketball Recap: Wakefield Takes a Loss

Wakefield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 66-44 to the Yorktown Patriots. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered against the Patriots since February 10, 2022.

Wakefield's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Yorktown, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Wakefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yorktown, they will head out to take on Washington-Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Washington-Liberty will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Yorktown surely won't give up without a fight.
