Basketball Game Preview: Pasco Bulldogs vs. Richland Bombers

The Pasco Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Richland Bombers at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Pasco is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Pasco came up short against Southridge and fell 53-40. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Suns are ranked 102nd).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Richland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-47 win over Southridge on Friday.

Richland pushed their record up to 5-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Pasco, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Pasco skirted past Richland 48-46 in their previous matchup on January 3rd. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pasco since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
