Recap: Piggott Mohawks vs. Harrisburg Hornets
This season hasn't been kind to the Piggott Mohawks, who are still winless after their 17th contest. They took a 52-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harrisburg on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Piggott of the 62-42 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Leading Harrisburg to victory were Eastin Gray and Axel Heeb. Gray scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Heeb scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was JP Rowton, who scored nine points along with six assists and two steals.
Piggott's defeat was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Harrisburg, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-18.
Piggott will challenge Rivercrest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rivercrest is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Harrisburg, they will be playing at home against Gosnell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
