Baseball Game Preview: De Leon Bearcats vs. Bangs Dragons

For the second straight game, De Leon will face off against Bangs. The Bearcats will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. The last three games De Leon has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, De Leon didn't have quite enough to beat Bangs and fell 7-6.

For Bangs' part, Connor Bible was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. The Dragons are 3-1 when Bible posts two or more runs, but 1-5 otherwise.

De Leon has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6-1 record this season. As for Bangs, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-6.
