Basketball Game Preview: Hughson Huskies vs. Buhach Colony Thunder

The Hughson Huskies are taking a road trip to face off against the Buhach Colony Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hughson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.2 points per game this season.

Last Wednesday, Hughson ended up a good deal behind Johansen and lost 60-46. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Xavier Urquidez put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted seven points and eight boards. Karam Kang was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, Buhach Colony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-47 heartbreaker at the hands of Fairfield.

Hughson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Buhach Colony, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Hughson strolled past Buhach Colony when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 77-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hughson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
