Basketball Recap: East Pennsboro Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

East Pennsboro entered their contest against Middletown on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The East Pennsboro Panthers took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Middletown Blue Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-44 back in December of 2024.

East Pennsboro's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4. As for Middletown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Pennsboro will square off against Northern York at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Middletown has already played their next match (against West Perry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
