Volleyball Recap: Leland Comes Up Short

Leland was the 3-2 winner over Del Mar when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Chargers fell 3-1 to the Dons on Tuesday. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Del Mar scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23.

Leland's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Del Mar, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Leland has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Branham on the 24th. As for Del Mar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Leigh on the 24th.
