The Leesville Road Pride and the Richmond Raiders squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Leesville Road Pride had to settle for second. They took a 69-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. While losing is never fun, Leesville Road can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while Richmond is ranked 29th).

Despite the loss, Leesville Road still got an impressive performance from Kaiel Lawless, who scored 15 points. Molly Zuburg was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two blocks.

It was another big night for Jamyia "Juicy" Lindsey, who scored 27 points along with six steals for Richmond. That makes it four consecutive games in which Lindsey has scored at least a third of Richmond's points.
