Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Bacon County

Berrien came into Saturday's game looking for another win against Bacon County, but Makayla Thomas wouldn't allow it. The Bacon County Raiders took down the Berrien Rebels 44-25 on Saturday thanks in part to Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 23 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last 15 games she's played dating back to last season.

The win made it two in a row for Bacon County and bumps their season record up to 9-4. As for Berrien, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-14.

Bacon County will head out to face off against Fitzgerald at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bacon County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Berrien, they will face off against Brantley County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brantley County will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Berrien surely won't give up without a fight.
