Basketball Game Preview: Loudoun County Captains vs. Broad Run Spartans

The Loudoun County Captains will venture away from home to take on the Broad Run Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Loudoun County is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Woodgrove just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Wolverines 54-50.

Meanwhile, Broad Run was beaten by Potomac Falls 75-43 on Wednesday. The match marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Broad Run's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Loudoun County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Things could have been worse for Loudoun County, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 63-47 loss to Broad Run in their previous meeting back in January. Can Loudoun County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
