Basketball Game Preview: Cherryvale Chargers vs. Caney Valley Bullpups

The Cherryvale Chargers will square off against the Caney Valley Bullpups on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Cherryvale had to suffer through a 76-43 loss at the hands of Fredonia. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 325th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 124th).

Meanwhile, Caney Valley had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.9 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They walked away with a 64-55 victory over the Cubs.

Cherryvale dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Caney Valley, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
