The Glen Rose Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Dunbar Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Glen Rose knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Dunbar likes a good challenge.
It was a proper cat-fight when Glen Rose faced off against Benbrook on Friday. The Tigers claimed a resounding 53-14 win over the Bobcats. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Glen Rose relied on the efforts of Tyson Sullivan, who gained 204 total yards and four touchdowns, and Judd Connally, who rushed for 92 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries. With that strong performance, Sullivan is now averaging an impressive 100.8 rushing yards per game.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dunbar). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-14 win over Hillsboro. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their six-point performance the game before.
Glen Rose better keep an eye on Kamron Lloyd. He was instrumental in Dunbar's win, rushing for 174 yards and three scores on only 14 carries. They are 4-1 when Lloyd posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise. Detrick James also helped out with an impressive 85 receiving yards.
Glen Rose's record is now 4-5. As for Dunbar, their record now sits at an identical 4-5.
Everything came up roses for Glen Rose against Dunbar in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 61-7 victory. In that contest, the Tigers amassed a halftime lead of 51-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
