Baseball Game Preview: Arlington Colts vs. Hebron Hawks

The Arlington Colts will head out on the road to square off against the Hebron Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arlington is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Arlington is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 5-1 win over Richardson.

Jeremiah Taylor was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Collin Murphree, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Hebron duked it out with Allen on Saturday. The Hawks were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Hawks have posted against the Eagles since April 22, 2016.

Hebron has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-17 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Arlington, their record is now 20-12.
