Basketball Recap: Tipton Drops Season-High Score on North Cedar

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tipton). They claimed a resounding 76-39 win over the North Cedar Knights. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Tipton's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for North Cedar, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Tipton will face off against Mid-Prairie on Friday. As for North Cedar, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-38 defeat against Edgewood-Colesburg on the 14th.
