Volleyball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union was the 3-2 winner over Tucker County when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Mountain Lions by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Union started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 13-25, 25-12, 25-10, 15-6.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Tucker County, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 9-9.

Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tucker County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against East Hardy on the 3rd.
