Basketball Game Preview: Rangely Panthers vs. Ouray Trojans + How To Watch

The Rangely Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the Ouray Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ouray took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Rangely, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Rangely took on Maeser Prep Academy on Saturday. The Panthers blew past the Lions 50-26.

Addison Scott went supernova, going 6-for-9 en route to 13 points along with eight boards and four blocks. Those four blocks gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Yates, who posted six points in addition to seven steals and five assists.

Meanwhile, Ouray lost to Ridgway at home by a 30-14 margin on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Demons: they've now lost six in a row.

Mikayla Hirt was Ouray's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Brooke Edder held things down on the boards with nine rebounds. Imogene Demuth took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ouray fell to 2-1. As for Rangely, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
