Basketball Game Preview: Troy Flying Horses vs. Lansingburgh Knights

Troy has gone a perfect 4-0 against Lansingburgh recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Troy Flying Horses will be playing at home against the Lansingburgh Knights at 6:30 p.m. Lansingburgh took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Troy, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Troy beat Cohoes 59-46. Given the Flying Horses' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Tigers are ranked 507th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lansingburgh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They lost 44-24 to Gloversville.

Troy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points over those games. As for Lansingburgh, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.

Everything came up roses for Troy against Lansingburgh in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured an 87-19 victory. Does Troy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lansingburgh turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
