Basketball Recap: Weber Skates Past Logan with Ease

Weber lost to Logan back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Weber Warriors claimed a resounding 74-47 win over the Logan Grizzlies. That looming 74-47 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

Reed Olsen and Ethan Woolley certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Olsen dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, while Woolley went 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points. Olsen has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayden Olsen, who posted seven points.

Weber pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Logan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weber will head out to take on Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Weber knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Farmington likes a good challenge. As for Logan, they will venture away from home to challenge West Field at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
