Softball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern lost against New Albany back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Musketeers took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Eastern saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lila Blevins, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for New Albany, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-12 record.

Eastern has already played their next contest, a 7-4 victory against Madison on the 8th. As for New Albany, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-4 win against Clarksville on the 9th.
