Baseball Recap: Chester County's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Chester County and South Gibson meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-4 defeat back in April.

Chester County's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-11. As for South Gibson, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-8 record this season.

Chester County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Gibson has already played their next matchup (against Greeneville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
