Volleyball Recap: Osceola Indians vs. Crest Ridge Cougars
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Osceola can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Crest Ridge Cougars on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered since September 16th.
Taryn Wood paced Osceola's offense, picking up 13 kills. Wood got some help from Roz Snider and her 14 assists. Lydia Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Crest Ridge was led to victory by Willa Moylan and Jenna Shelton. Moylan had 18 digs and one assist, while Shelton had eight digs and one assist. Moylan is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 18 or more in each of the last five games she's played.
Osceola's loss dropped their record down to 19-10-6. As for Crest Ridge, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-16-1.
Osceola does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crest Ridge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Northland Christian on the 1st.
