Football Game Recap: Pope John Paul II vs. St. Helena College and Career Academy

St. Helena College and Career Academy won the last time they met up with Pope John Paul II, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. St. Helena College and Career Academy took the contest and then some with a 48-0 win on Friday over Pope John Paul II. Followers of St. Helena College and Career Academy probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.

The victory bumped St. Helena College and Career Academy's record up to 5-1. The loss dropped Pope John Paul II back to even at 3-3.

St. Helena College and Career Academy will be staying on the road next week, facing off against St. Thomas Aquinas. Those two teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games. As for Pope John Paul II, they will face off against Springfield. Both of those teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
