Basketball Game Preview: Morrison Mustangs vs. Orion Chargers

Morrison hasn't had much luck against Orion recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Morrison Mustangs will be home for the holidays to greet the Orion Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Morrison is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-48 heartbreaker at the hands of Erie-Prophetstown.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Orion's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against Sherrard, falling 63-42. The game marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Orion's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2. As for Morrison, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Things could have been worse for Morrison, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 68-54 loss to Orion in their previous meeting back in February.
