Jayvian Burdette gave up the fewest walks he has since back in May of 2024 on Thursday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Burdette and Richmond will welcome East Central at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
