Soccer Game Preview: Warren Central vs. Germantown

Warren Central is 1-8-1 against Germantown since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Vikings will take on the Mavericks at 5:30 p.m.

Warren Central is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 goals on Saturday, they were much more limited against Florence on Tuesday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 5-1.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Germantown made sure to put some goals up on the board against Pearl on Tuesday. They never let the Pirates get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Considering Germantown have won three contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Pearl with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Leighton Temple (2), Teffany Morataya, Avery Largilliere, and Hannah Lau.

Germantown now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Warren Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Warren Central suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Germantown when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
