Basketball Recap: LeRoy Comes Up Short

If LeRoy was feeling good fresh off their 56-32 takedown of Flanagan/Woodland last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The LeRoy Panthers were outmatched by the Tremont Turks and fell 62-28. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Turks: they've now lost seven in a row.

LeRoy's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Tremont, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

While LeRoy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
