Volleyball Recap: Leroy Greene Academy Wins Going Away Against Esparto

Leroy Greene Academy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Esparto Spartans with a sharp 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Leroy Greene Academy took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-7, 25-10.

Jaeden Camerino went supernova, getting six aces and one block. Those six aces gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaden Pena, who had three digs and three aces.

Leroy Greene Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. Esparto now has a losing record of 2-3.

Meanwhile, Esparto is set to take on their familiar foe Elite at 4:30 p.m. on April 7. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
