It was a good run, but Hidden Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 5-2 to the Henley Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Hidden Valley's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for Henley, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hidden Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Klamath Union at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs are on a five-game streak of home wins, the Pelicans a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. Meanwhile, Henley will square off against rival Phoenix at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
